I returned to Subaru of Rochester for a second car purchase. My experience went very smoothly and professional. I would recommend Subaru of Rochester to anyone. I also returned to work with a professional sales man, Alex P. Great experience. My experience on March 31st with Trevor and the Service Department was wonderful. I could not have asked for a better experience. Keep up the good work. I gave told many Mankato people what a wonderful job your dealership and service department do.. Now on my third Outback from Rochester Subaru. Great experience. My salesman, Collin was wonderful and Jake the GM was very friendly and professional. Another great experience and will continue to tell people to travel to Rochester from Mankato. Thanks.

People at Subaru are always great. If you are purchasing a new automobile, I’m not sure how important customer service is to you vs having a great car. At Subaru the cars are great and the customer service is great.

I feel the sales and financing team at Subaru of Rochester took care of me very well. They kept me informed of the stock, and found me a 2026 Outback Limited (CPO with only 2,500 mi) I live 1 1/2 hours away, so they had it delivered to my house, and picked up my car for trade in. I've never had that option before. The convenience was great, but the down side was no one was there to explain the forms I had to fill out at the time of delivery, and so I had to do some calling. The biggest thing I didn't like was before I came to the dealership I asked them if I was to buy a car there, could I take it to any other dealership for warrenty service. They confirmed absolutely! When it came down to it, when I got on location, they clarified, I could go anywhere, but I would have to pay $100 deductible to go elsewhere for servicing.. I felt that was a "bait & switch", In the end, I used that as leverage on my deal and got that waived for the future. Hopefully there will be no "catches" to that when the event when it arrives.

Subaru of Rochester is truly a wonderful dealership!!! The staff is top notch and professional, Olivia got me into a fantastic 2021 outback that we were talking about over the weekend- said I couldn’t make it until Monday morning and was told it be cleaned and gased up for me to take for a test drive and sure enough Monday morning it was ready for me. I’ll be coming back to Subaru of Rochester for all my future vehicle needs.

Every time I get service done at this location the bar is set a little higher. Zoey is amazing and helped us navigate what was most important for regular service on our high mileage car. With money being tight these days, it is a relief to come to a business that isn’t trying to squeeze more money out of you. They work more as a trusted partner. We live 9 hours away and alway make sure we get our service done here when we are in town.

It was easy to book an appointment online. I was welcomed in to the garage on time. They did a thorough assessment of my car as well as the maintenance that I had asked for. The carwash was down. They gave me a complete readout of all the systems within in my car and their status. Very satisfied.

Quick and helpful. It feels like they aren't trying to take advantage of you, which is great. The employees aren't paid on commission, so they are genuinely trying to help you find the best deal possible.

Given that we were out from out of state and suddenly had a vehicle that could no longer be driven safely and repairs would have been outrageous, everyone we dealt with was very helpful and help make a rotten day much better and much easier to deal with.

I found the car I wanted on Cargurus and it was located at Subaru of Rochester in MN. I did everything by text. They worked with me over a couple of days to get the deal I wanted done. The salesman, Gaborik, was helpful in sending a video of the car and pointing out a bonus that hadn't been noted. I had wanted the car delivered to me, but was told they could only deliver 45 miles from the dealership. I luckily have an amazing friend that drove me the 3 + hours it took to get there. Walk through of the tech and car was pretty thorough and, all in all, was a good experience.

Our second vehicle purchased from Subaru of Rochester. Smooth experience the whole way through. Very comfortable atmosphere. Esad and the sales team were all very knowledgeable and did not pressure us in any way. We found the prices and warranty options were better than purchasing a Subaru from other dealerships we visited in the area.

Choosing a car and filling out all the paperwork is a lengthy process and Subaru of Rochester did their best to provide water, snacks, a place for our child to play, and anything to make the process go as efficiently as possible. Collins was particularly excellent, he is very professional while being very pleasant as well. I would say affable. This was our third time purchasing a vehicle here, and all three times went rather well, and importantly when things didn't go perfectly, they did well to recover, and being good at that is an important skill they put to great use. Great all around experience, would buy again.

Great staff they are not there to just sell you a car they are there to build a relationship with the customer and find you a vehicle that will fit your lifestyle and more importantly your budget they are great at problem solving and finding a solution I purchased two vehicles from the Subaru of Rochester we all know buying a new car can be stressful and give a person anxiety they did a fantastic job of making the process exciting and took away any concerns I had the staff there really care about the people in the community I could see that through my experience I would recommend them to anyone that is on a new car journey purchase

Isiah was a great host in looking for a used car. It was an early Monday morning and I had called ahead to make sure it was still there. He had it washed and right up front for me in 20 minutes when I arrived. Knew his vehicle even though it was not a Subaru and was a great co-pilot during the test drive. I JUST PURCHASED MY THIRD SUBARU FROM PENZ ROCHESTER SUBARU. WE HAD A 2025 OUTBACK AND WE STOPPED IN FOR OUR FREE OIL CHANGE, WHILE WE WERE THEIR WE LOOKED AT THE NEW 2026 VERSION. WE LOVED THE NEW STYLE SO MUCH WE ENDED UP TRADING OURS IN WITH A LOWER INTEREST RATE AND THE PAYMENT ACTUALLY WENT DOWN SOME. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! THE NEW OUTBACK IS AN AMAZING CAR AND WE LOVE IT!! IT'S LIKE A TOTALLY DIFFERENT LUXURY CAR! IF YOU LIKE SUBARU'S I WOULD RECOMMEND STOPPING IN AND CHECKING ONE OUT! THEY TREATED ME SO WELL AND NO PRESSURE. MY WIFE AND I FIGHT OVER WHO GETS TO DRIVE. We visited several dealerships in Rochester and we ran into different situations, from inflated prices to lack of transparency in the process. We had a great experience at Penz Automotive Group (Subaru) in Rochester, MN. Our sales person was Elliot and he was AMAZING! No high pressure sales…just a genuine interest in what we wanted/needed and a desire to ensure he got us into the right vehicle. It’s now been about a month since our purchase (a 2026 Subaru Forester - Wilderness Edition) so we’ve completed the sale, completed financing, and had our first experience with the parts department (for some add-ons), and Service Center (for installation). It’s the little things that make a big difference and Penz Automotive Group (Subaru) in Rochester leaves no stone unturned. From door attendants who greet you and open the door for you every time you visit, to service center employees who make themselves available to you during their lunch — this place is top notch! If the rest of our ownership experience continues this way, I can confidently say that our first Subaru purchase won’t be our last! Collins was the service writer I worked with, and I am deeply impressed. Subaru begins with a series of questions, pinpointing your tastes, values, and desires. You are guided, not led, through this process. My answers mattered. When other dealerships made me feel poor, unimportant, and like they were doing ME a huge favor, Collins and the team at Rochester Subaru made me feel important, and they assured me that they will help me find a way to meet my needs and desires. They made this not only easy, but enjoyable. They have a great product and an even better team. And fun sidebar: a customer came in to leave them a tub of homemade cookies while I was there. They have, clearly, made an impression on more than just me. Even if you are Subaru-skeptical, I think you should at least shop here once the next time you are looking for a car, just so you know how a customer can and should be treated.

What really stood out was how easy he made the whole process. everything was smooth, transparent, and stress-free. It’s clear he cares about his customers and wants them to leave happy. David P. Is an excellent Service Rep. Kept me informed during the entire process and made everything very clear. Both while waiting at the dealership and via text/phone. Recommendations are just that and the final decision is mine without pressure. He and the service tech did a lot of research and extra work into a warranty issue as well. Waiting area is set up w work stations if needed. This dealership welcomes dogs both inside and a play area outside. They even let my dog ride the courtesy car home when an unexpected issue arose, so bring your own towel just in case, although I’m sure they’d spring for a disposable seat cover.
