I had a great experience with Subaru of Rochester. Everyone was kind, professional, punctual, and fair throughout the entire process. Jordan, the salesman, was extremely helpful and made the buying experience easy and comfortable. Jeremiah, the accountant, was also great to work with and made the paperwork straightforward and hassle-free. It’s refreshing to deal with a dealership that treats its customers with respect and doesn’t make you feel pressured. I really appreciate the way I was treated and would definitely recommend Subaru of Rochester to anyone looking for a vehicle. Jordan and Jeremiah both deserve recognition for making this such a positive experience! Thank you again guys!

Before our test drive, he pulled the car up, opened every door, and walked us through the features step-by-step. The team at Subaru of Rochester genuinely cares about your experience and works hard to help you find a car that fits your specific needs and budget. Unlike the rushed Honda buying experience across town—where I literally spent today peeling their dealer badge off my car—Subaru actually lets you take your time. My husband and I recently bought the 2026 Crosstrek Hybrid from this Subaru dealership. From the beginning to the end, it was a very positive experience. We had done some research on the car model we were interested in and we dropped by the dealership to see if we could do test drive. Emily was so helpful and did not make us feel pressured during the process. We are so happy with our purchase and with the customer service. Everyone was so friendly!

It was a wonderful experience. Had shopped the. Internet for vehicles and pricing. Needed to physically see the different models and trim packages. We live in Red Wing and Rochester was closer. The plan was to visit different dealerships and shop. The staff and salespeople at Penz were very friendly. Not pushy. Very accommodating as we looked and test drove 4-6 vehicles. Our salesman ,Gbaorik,was very helpful. If he didn't have the answers,he sought it out quickly. He made it our experience and did a great job. The financing is a whole nother part to the buy. But, Ally,was very professional, not pushy and ww talked through what we wanted for plans and she had good feedback without making us feel uncomfortable if I said "No thanks."i It takes time to buy that car you want,but we finalized and walked out feeling good about the whole experience. It's been awhile since we did a vehicle purchase,especially new. But,they were excellent.

Excellent experience! I have told all of my friends. The customer service tops all. It's immaculate inside and they serve coffee, etc A very nice touch. They support the community in multiple facets. They are very generous to support other great causes. I am in love with my car. I hadn't originally planned on buying a Subaru but I am sold on this whole situation. And they follow up with everything. If you need a vehicle this is the place to go. Hands down. Their theme is "LOVE" and this is evident. Christianity is part of their life and it shows. I returned to Subaru of Rochester for a second car purchase. My experience went very smoothly and professional. I would recommend Subaru of Rochester to anyone. I also returned to work with a professional sales man, Alex P. Great experience. My experience on March 31st with Trevor and the Service Department was wonderful. I could not have asked for a better experience. Keep up the good work. I gave told many Mankato people what a wonderful job your dealership and service department do.. Now on my third Outback from Rochester Subaru. Great experience. My salesman, Collin was wonderful and Jake the GM was very friendly and professional. Another great experience and will continue to tell people to travel to Rochester from Mankato. Thanks.

People at Subaru are always great. If you are purchasing a new automobile, I’m not sure how important customer service is to you vs having a great car. At Subaru the cars are great and the customer service is great.

I feel the sales and financing team at Subaru of Rochester took care of me very well. They kept me informed of the stock, and found me a 2026 Outback Limited (CPO with only 2,500 mi) I live 1 1/2 hours away, so they had it delivered to my house, and picked up my car for trade in. I've never had that option before. The convenience was great, but the down side was no one was there to explain the forms I had to fill out at the time of delivery, and so I had to do some calling. The biggest thing I didn't like was before I came to the dealership I asked them if I was to buy a car there, could I take it to any other dealership for warrenty service. They confirmed absolutely! When it came down to it, when I got on location, they clarified, I could go anywhere, but I would have to pay $100 deductible to go elsewhere for servicing.. I felt that was a "bait & switch", In the end, I used that as leverage on my deal and got that waived for the future. Hopefully there will be no "catches" to that when the event when it arrives.

Subaru of Rochester is truly a wonderful dealership!!! The staff is top notch and professional, Olivia got me into a fantastic 2021 outback that we were talking about over the weekend- said I couldn’t make it until Monday morning and was told it be cleaned and gased up for me to take for a test drive and sure enough Monday morning it was ready for me. I’ll be coming back to Subaru of Rochester for all my future vehicle needs.

Every time I get service done at this location the bar is set a little higher. Zoey is amazing and helped us navigate what was most important for regular service on our high mileage car. With money being tight these days, it is a relief to come to a business that isn’t trying to squeeze more money out of you. They work more as a trusted partner. We live 9 hours away and alway make sure we get our service done here when we are in town.

It was easy to book an appointment online. I was welcomed in to the garage on time. They did a thorough assessment of my car as well as the maintenance that I had asked for. The carwash was down. They gave me a complete readout of all the systems within in my car and their status. Very satisfied.

I found the car I wanted on Cargurus and it was located at Subaru of Rochester in MN. I did everything by text. They worked with me over a couple of days to get the deal I wanted done. The salesman, Gaborik, was helpful in sending a video of the car and pointing out a bonus that hadn't been noted. I had wanted the car delivered to me, but was told they could only deliver 45 miles from the dealership. I luckily have an amazing friend that drove me the 3 + hours it took to get there. Walk through of the tech and car was pretty thorough and, all in all, was a good experience.

Our second vehicle purchased from Subaru of Rochester. Smooth experience the whole way through. Very comfortable atmosphere. Esad and the sales team were all very knowledgeable and did not pressure us in any way. Choosing a car and filling out all the paperwork is a lengthy process and Subaru of Rochester did their best to provide water, snacks, a place for our child to play, and anything to make the process go as efficiently as possible. Collins was particularly excellent, he is very professional while being very pleasant as well. I would say affable. This was our third time purchasing a vehicle here, and all three times went rather well, and importantly when things didn't go perfectly, they did well to recover, and being good at that is an important skill they put to great use. Great all around experience, would buy again.

Great staff they are not there to just sell you a car they are there to build a relationship with the customer and find you a vehicle that will fit your lifestyle and more importantly your budget they are great at problem solving and finding a solution I purchased two vehicles from the Subaru of Rochester we all know buying a new car can be stressful and give a person anxiety they did a fantastic job of making the process exciting and took away any concerns I had the staff there really care about the people in the community I could see that through my experience I would recommend them to anyone that is on a new car journey purchase

My 2017 Subaru Outback was totaled when a drunk driver hit me. I called Friday morning and told him exactly what vehicle I was interested in. He held it for me until we arrived that afternoon!

Isiah was a great host in looking for a used car. It was an early Monday morning and I had called ahead to make sure it was still there. He had it washed and right up front for me in 20 minutes when I arrived. Knew his vehicle even though it was not a Subaru and was a great co-pilot during the test drive. I JUST PURCHASED MY THIRD SUBARU FROM PENZ ROCHESTER SUBARU. WE HAD A 2025 OUTBACK AND WE STOPPED IN FOR OUR FREE OIL CHANGE, WHILE WE WERE THEIR WE LOOKED AT THE NEW 2026 VERSION. WE LOVED THE NEW STYLE SO MUCH WE ENDED UP TRADING OURS IN WITH A LOWER INTEREST RATE AND THE PAYMENT ACTUALLY WENT DOWN SOME. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! THE NEW OUTBACK IS AN AMAZING CAR AND WE LOVE IT!! IT'S LIKE A TOTALLY DIFFERENT LUXURY CAR! IF YOU LIKE SUBARU'S I WOULD RECOMMEND STOPPING IN AND CHECKING ONE OUT! THEY TREATED ME SO WELL AND NO PRESSURE. MY WIFE AND I FIGHT OVER WHO GETS TO DRIVE. My friend was shopping for a car and I helped her with that. We visited several dealerships in Rochester and we ran into different situations, from inflated prices to lack of transparency in the process. We came to Subaru of Rochester and not only did we like the car that my friend ended up buying but the whole process was clear and transparent and we never felt pushed into anything. Brenen, the salesperson and the whole buying experience were great!

Subaru Rochester has treated us well on more than one occasion. Purchasing two cars, my only advice would be to ask for your personalized interest numbers. Everyone was very nice when we've gone for maintenance. I arrived an hour earlier than expected and they got us in no problem. Went to another mechanic first and told I had a transmission problem. They quoted me $10,000.Went Subaru fully prepared to need a new transmission and work on doing a payment plan.Not only did they realize the other mechanic was wrong but the were able to fix for much $1,600. They got my car done within a day. Mechanics were very up front with me and made sure I got my car back right away.

Elliot was super. I have never experienced a car salesman as thorough and accommodating as Elliott. Answered all questions. Toured us through the whole facility. Jake and Jeremiah also so personable and helpful. No pressure from anyone. We drove out with a Crosstrek Wilderness. We love it. Just took our Crosstrek in for its first oil change (which was free). I was in and out in about 30 minutes. This dealership really makes the extra effort to make you happy.

They communicate via text which was convenient during my work day. Their van service is very convenient. When I’ve had service that has taken a few days I’ve been able to rent a car.

I called to get parts to do work myself and was told I had an extended warranty so took my car in and they took care of the issue at no cost to me. I love my forester and was very pleased with the whole process as I purchased it. Now a little over a year later and even with the issue of a broken down car I am even more of a Subaru lover. Buy a car from Esad. Sent him a text on Thursday night telling him what I wanted and minutes later he had something. On Friday we did all the paperwork virtually and by 2:00 pm Saturday, I test drove the car, signed the papers and was in my way home, the proud new owner of a Subaru. This was my last FREE oil-change at @ 12,000 miles including 15-pt inspection and tire rotation. I appreciated that it included a live video made by the technician as he went thru all 15 pts with helpful explanation. In addition, since I live on a gravel road, I asked for the cabin filter to be changed, and it was. David said it would take about an hour to get it done and that proved accurate. We went over everything afterward and I was satisfied. I went on with my day promptly. Their shop prices are reasonable....considering they are a dealership!

Very professional service. The Subaru rep, David, took time to describe what types of testing would be done and the approximate cost of tuneup when we dropped off our car. Text messages kept us informed of the progress. When we went to pick up the car, the same rep went through in detail about the tuneup. We were most impressed and pleased with the rep and the experience. We have not had such good experience with getting our vehicles serviced. Thank you!

I was happy with my Subaru service. I had an oil change. They checked my tread thickness, filters, brake pads, etc, so that I know what to watch for in the future. They informed me but did not push to have this taken care of today. They did a good job.

Excellent customer service at Penz Subaru! Came in late in day with an alternator hard-down failure that luckily occurred while I was at Shoppes on Maine. They provided a brand new 2025 Outback as a loaner vehicle on the spot at no cost. They had my car repaired before 5PM the next day, at an incredibly fair price, and had even run my car through their car wash, also at no charge. I shared with one of my relatives that if they are looking for a car, they should buy from Penz Subaru if for no other reason than the service. I hope they are able to continue this level of service in perpetuity. I was quite frankly amazed.

We just picked up our 2025 Subaru Forester Hybrid two days ago and the next day we drove to central Wisconsin for a family Easter weekend. We enjoyed the experience totally! We enjoyed experiencing all the safety features while driving both four and two lane roads. And we laughed when I accidentally turned on the heated seats that weren’t needed at the time. We forgot where the button was to open the gas tank and looked it up in the manual. When I drove the car home we had a heavy rain storm and I really appreciated the automatic speed of the windshield wipers. Also, we truly appreciated our salesman Alex and the finance manager Meg. We went for all the bells and whistles for this hybrid vehicle and are so glad we did. We feel very safe and we love it. Thank you Subaru for making a hybrid SUV.
