Our Outback needed a battery inspection and eventual replacement. Lauren and Angie were SPECTACULAR in helping me understand the situation and walking me through what was being done (and why) while I waited in the lounge. Esad was awesome. We’ve worked with him before. He’s helped us look at several vehicles and buy one before. I called Subaru and set up a test drive and then Esad called me back so that he could help me directly. The car was great and in great condition. It was clean which some other dealers in the area don’t seem to care too much about. They handled everything really smoothly and were super open to questions and feedback. An excellent experience, nicely handled by Esad. Would be happy to work with them again if I need another car.

My experience with Penz Subaru was excellent. All of the staff treated me well and seemed to care about meeting my requirements for my next car. I knew what I wanted. They never pressured me for anything. They did a follow up a few days later asking if I had questions about my new vehicle, if I was satisfied and if I loved what I was driving.

The customer service at Subaru is superior to other dealerships. Regardless of your needs they will do their best to make sure they are met. They truly lookout for you, whether you are in the service department or buying a new car. The whole expereince from the service department, to the sales team, and financing was excellent! A coulple of names I want to mention. John the service manager took care of me, and it was much appreciated. Levi and Caleb helped me in the sales department, truly an awesome buying experience. Alex helped me with the financing portion and all the vehicle add ons from the extended warranty to the maintence wrap. Thanks, Again Jordan F.

Great dealership. I've purchased two (used) cars here. Really enjoyed the no pressure process. The service department is fantastic. They keep you informed, answer all of your questions, and give you time to make decisions. Plus they have all the amenities that most dealership service departments offer. I highly recommend Rochester Subaru for both auto purchases and service! 7/22/2025 Update: just traded in my used 2021 Outback Touring XT for a 2025 Outback Touring XT on a three year lease. Not only did I keep the same payment as my trade-in, but I'm getting a $3100 check back. Very simple process, no haggling, just a very good discount, $500 bonus on trade-in, cost of extended warranty on trade-in returned (pro-rated). All up-front with no request on my part. Just a really great dealership to work with! 7/25/25 Update: Oops. Forgot to mention that Issah was fantastic to work with. He offered several (many, actually) options to meet my requirements exactly and was very pleasant throughout. Was upfront about options that didn't meet certain of my requirements. Continued to ask questions and we finally found one that met all of my requirements. Shot out to Issah!

Levi was very easy to work with in my purchase of 2024 Forester. Was able to test drive a couple of different vehicles. Paperwork process was longer than expected,. Levi would keep me informed and I was able to have snacks while waiting. Follow up texts have been good and look forward to using Rochester Subaru for my service needs.

I go to Penz Subaru of Rochester because I like knowing a Subaru trained technician works on my Forester. When I arrived, they had done their homework and could tell me the other service items due besides the oil change/tire rotation, which I really appreciated. They offered me a complementary rental since the service would take longer than expected, even though I had my 6 month old puppy along for the ride! When I returned, the wild card coupon knocked a nice amount off the total which made the trip in for regular maintenance really manageable.

I have nothing but good things to say about my experience at Rochester Subaru! From the moment I called in a panic with my AC not working and having a sick kid they made sure that they got me in one of their loner vehicles till they were able to look at my car and figure out what was going on. Not even a week later I was back in my own vehicle with the AC working like it was a new car. From the moment I arrived in tears before a stressful doctors appointment with my son to the moment I returned in happy tears for how my track team I coach did at state they were there for the highs and lows. Honestly they are more than just a dealership or a shop, they want to make sure you are taken care of and truly love what you drive! I hope the next time I am back, I am looking at upgrading my vehicle.

They actually took the time to get in the car with me for a test drive to confirm what I hearing so they could convey that to the technicians. The service advisor was great at communicating to let me know the status of the repairs. There was no real pressure to upsell any maintenance items but did offer so that was nice as well. Overall a great experience and will be back if and when my vehicle has issues again.

Above and beyond!!! I just got off work and when I started driving my vehicle was making an awful noise and I thought something was horribly broken. I pulled into the service bay, (no prior appointment), David was able to quickly diagnose my issue and thankfully it was nothing more than a rock in the tire! This was our first experience with the Service Department at Subaru in Rochester, MN. It was for an oil change, tire rotation and general fluid check. All was completed within an hour. Staff was informative and courteous. The waiting room was comfortable for the wait. All went as planned.

The stay in the dealership's customer lounge was very pleasant - good Wi-Fi, lots of complimentary snacks, soda, and water. The place overall and the men's room in particular are kept very clean.

I was on a road trip when my Subaru was due for its first service. They didn’t have any appointments for over a week, so I did the drop-in service. They told me when I dropped it off that it might be three hours because they’d been very busy. My car was ready in just under three hours. They obviously emphasize Customer Service because they took great pains to make sure that everyone was comfortable as they waited, and at the end they explained everything they had checked and done to my car. Everything worked fine afterwards and they gave my car a complementary car wash.

It was a wonderful experience. Had shopped the. Internet for vehicles and pricing. Needed to physically see the different models and trim packages. We live in Red Wing and Rochester was closer. The plan was to visit different dealerships and shop. The staff and salespeople at Penz were very friendly. Not pushy. Very accommodating as we looked and test drove 4-6 vehicles. Our salesman ,Gbaorik,was very helpful. If he didn't have the answers,he sought it out quickly. He made it our experience and did a great job. The financing is a whole nother part to the buy. But, Ally,was very professional, not pushy and ww talked through what we wanted for plans and she had good feedback without making us feel uncomfortable if I said "No thanks."i It takes time to buy that car you want,but we finalized and walked out feeling good about the whole experience. It's been awhile since we did a vehicle purchase,especially new. But,they were excellent.

Excellent experience! I have told all of my friends. The customer service tops all. It's immaculate inside and they serve coffee, etc A very nice touch. They support the community in multiple facets. They are very generous to support other great causes. I am in love with my car. I hadn't originally planned on buying a Subaru but I am sold on this whole situation. And they follow up with everything. If you need a vehicle this is the place to go. Hands down. Their theme is "LOVE" and this is evident. Christianity is part of their life and it shows. I feel the sales and financing team at Subaru of Rochester took care of me very well. They kept me informed of the stock, and found me a 2026 Outback Limited (CPO with only 2,500 mi) I live 1 1/2 hours away, so they had it delivered to my house, and picked up my car for trade in. I've never had that option before. The convenience was great, but the down side was no one was there to explain the forms I had to fill out at the time of delivery, and so I had to do some calling. The biggest thing I didn't like was before I came to the dealership I asked them if I was to buy a car there, could I take it to any other dealership for warrenty service. They confirmed absolutely! When it came down to it, when I got on location, they clarified, I could go anywhere, but I would have to pay $100 deductible to go elsewhere for servicing.. I felt that was a "bait & switch", In the end, I used that as leverage on my deal and got that waived for the future. Hopefully there will be no "catches" to that when the event when it arrives.

Subaru of Rochester is truly a wonderful dealership!!! The staff is top notch and professional, Olivia got me into a fantastic 2021 outback that we were talking about over the weekend- said I couldn’t make it until Monday morning and was told it be cleaned and gased up for me to take for a test drive and sure enough Monday morning it was ready for me. I’ll be coming back to Subaru of Rochester for all my future vehicle needs.

Every time I get service done at this location the bar is set a little higher. Zoey is amazing and helped us navigate what was most important for regular service on our high mileage car. With money being tight these days, it is a relief to come to a business that isn’t trying to squeeze more money out of you. They work more as a trusted partner. We live 9 hours away and alway make sure we get our service done here when we are in town.

It was easy to book an appointment online. I was welcomed in to the garage on time. They did a thorough assessment of my car as well as the maintenance that I had asked for. The carwash was down. They gave me a complete readout of all the systems within in my car and their status. Very satisfied.

I found the car I wanted on Cargurus and it was located at Subaru of Rochester in MN. I did everything by text. They worked with me over a couple of days to get the deal I wanted done. The salesman, Gaborik, was helpful in sending a video of the car and pointing out a bonus that hadn't been noted. I had wanted the car delivered to me, but was told they could only deliver 45 miles from the dealership. I luckily have an amazing friend that drove me the 3 + hours it took to get there. Walk through of the tech and car was pretty thorough and, all in all, was a good experience.

Choosing a car and filling out all the paperwork is a lengthy process and Subaru of Rochester did their best to provide water, snacks, a place for our child to play, and anything to make the process go as efficiently as possible. Collins was particularly excellent, he is very professional while being very pleasant as well. I would say affable. This was our third time purchasing a vehicle here, and all three times went rather well, and importantly when things didn't go perfectly, they did well to recover, and being good at that is an important skill they put to great use. Great all around experience, would buy again.

WE LOVED THE NEW STYLE SO MUCH WE ENDED UP TRADING OURS IN WITH A LOWER INTEREST RATE AND THE PAYMENT ACTUALLY WENT DOWN SOME. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! THE NEW OUTBACK IS AN AMAZING CAR AND WE LOVE IT!!
